Senior Data Engineer

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance across various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable data pipelines using modern data engineering tools and technologies.
Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics.
Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Optimize data infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in data engineering and data warehousing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with ETL processes and tools.
