Piping Layout Area Engineer

This role involves providing engineering support for the design and layout of piping systems within industrial projects. The Piping Layout Area Engineer will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe piping designs that meet project requirements and adhere to industry standards. This position requires a strong understanding of piping design principles, layout techniques, and relevant engineering software.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and review piping layout drawings and 3D models.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
Prepare and maintain piping design documentation.
Optimize piping layouts for efficiency, accessibility, and maintainability.
Support site activities related to piping installation and commissioning.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5 to 10 years of experience in piping layout design.
Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D).
Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with industrial projects is preferred.
