Estimation Engineer

This role involves providing accurate and detailed cost estimations for engineering projects within the energy sector. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, evaluating vendor quotes, and preparing comprehensive cost proposals to support successful project bids and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed cost estimates for engineering projects, considering labor, materials, equipment, and other relevant factors.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to accurately assess scope and requirements.
Evaluate vendor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Prepare and present cost estimation reports to project managers and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of cost data and historical project information.
Identify and mitigate potential cost risks.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
5 to 7 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably within the energy industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
