Assistant Audit Manager

This role involves assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits to ensure the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The Assistant Audit Manager will work closely with the audit team to evaluate operational efficiency and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and execution of audit plans.
Conduct audit procedures, including reviewing documentation, interviewing personnel, and testing controls.
Identify and document audit findings, including control weaknesses and non-compliance issues.
Prepare clear and concise audit reports with recommendations for improvement.
Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
Support the audit team in various administrative tasks.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4 to 9 years of experience in auditing or a related role.
Strong understanding of internal audit principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
