About the Role
The Vice President of Global Analytics & Insights at the LEGO Group is a senior leadership role responsible for leading all Analytics and Insights teams across the commercial organisation. This individual will leverage data and insights to drive business growth, optimise performance, and inform strategic decisions — while orchestrating global teams effectively, reducing overlaps, and unlocking new capabilities across the organisation.

Scope of Responsibility
This role oversees three layers within Analytics & Insights:
- Regional Commercial Analytics — one team per regional Market Group plus LEGO Retail (D2C), fully integrated into the regions and leveraging global teams to drive regional insights.
- Global Enablement Organisations — acting as data owners, working closely with the Data Office and building models using Databricks.
- Global Commercial & Advanced Analytics — using sophisticated methods to cross-examine data and answer global strategic questions.
Core Responsibilities
Leadership
- Lead a large, diverse team of functional experts with a unified vision and clear priorities
- Drive transformation within the A&I organisation to enhance commercial strategies through data-driven insights
- Evolve one global A&I team, inspiring career opportunities and infusing digital expertise into the business
- Advance capability-building programs to elevate A&I talent development
Analytics
- Elevate commercial insights to drive consumer sales and revenue growth
- Ensure global adoption of data-driven approaches including data analytics, information visualisation, and proactive business problem-solving
- Communicate effectively on subject matter across diverse stakeholder groups
- Explore Advanced Analytics ways of working and generate long-term strategic insights
Data Systems, Governance & Processes
- Align analytics processes tightly with commercial objectives to drive actionable outcomes
- Eliminate data and process silos; drive user adoption
- Standardise and elevate analytical tools — including leveraging AI — for better, more timely insights
- Define ways of working across Global Commercial Development, the Data Office, Global Insights, BSO, and other global teams
What You'll Bring
- ✅ Proven leadership track record driving transformational agendas with strong followership
- ✅ Experience in a global analytics and insights leadership role
- ✅ Ability to translate commercial data into actionable, high-impact insights
- ✅ Background in consumer goods; experience in both B2B & D2C preferred
- ✅ Strong expertise in data management, analytical analysis, and insight generation
- ✅ Experience navigating change and leading global teams through transformation
- ✅ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
- ✅ Experience with augmented analytics and large-scale data analysis
- ✅ Experience building and testing predictive models within a sales organisation
- ✅ Willingness to challenge the status quo
Compensation
| Salary Range | $333,638 – $500,456 |
| Location | Boston, MA (Hybrid — avg. 3 days/week in office) |
