GCP Platform Engineer

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable cloud platforms utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and be adept at implementing and managing GCP services to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement GCP-based solutions aligned with business needs.
Manage and optimize GCP resources for performance, cost, and security.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
Monitor and troubleshoot GCP environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions.
Implement and maintain security best practices within the GCP environment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in cloud architecture and design patterns.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
Solid understanding of networking and security principles.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
