Sr. Designer - Knits

This role involves leading the design and development of knitwear collections for an export-focused garment house. The Senior Designer will be responsible for translating trends and market insights into innovative and commercially viable designs, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and develop knitwear designs based on market trends and customer preferences.
Create detailed technical sketches and specifications for production.
Source fabrics and trims, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are accurately executed.
Manage and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback.
Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements/Qualifications:

6 to 8 years of experience in knitwear design.
Strong understanding of garment construction and production processes.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for fashion.
