Electrical Designer - Water

This role involves designing and developing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment and infrastructure within these critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop electrical design drawings and specifications.
Perform load calculations and equipment sizing.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, process).
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of bid documents and proposals.
Review and approve shop drawings.
Provide technical support during construction.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in electrical design for water or wastewater treatment plants.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
