Manager - Solar Design Engineering

This role involves leading and managing a team responsible for the design and engineering of solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in solar design, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of solar design engineers.
Oversee the design and engineering of solar power plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop and implement design strategies to optimize project performance and cost-effectiveness.
Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion and adherence to financial constraints.
Collaborate with procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in solar technology.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
7 to 12 years of experience in solar design and engineering.
Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
Strong knowledge of solar PV system design principles, codes, and standards.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
