Paintshop Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)

This role involves ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of a paintshop facility through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment uptime, minimizing downtime, and adhering to safety protocols within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on paintshop equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize disruptions.
Order and manage spare parts inventory.

Requirements/Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in maintenance of industrial equipment, preferably in a paintshop or manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
