Mainframe Technical Operations Governance Modernization AVP

This role focuses on leading and implementing governance and modernization initiatives within the mainframe technical operations environment. The AVP will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of mainframe systems while driving modernization efforts to align with current business needs and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement mainframe governance policies and procedures.
Lead modernization projects, including assessment, planning, and execution.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mainframe environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Manage and mentor a team of mainframe technical professionals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align mainframe operations with business objectives.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience (15-20 years) in mainframe technical operations.
Proven experience in mainframe governance and modernization initiatives.
Strong understanding of mainframe architecture, operating systems, and databases.
Experience with mainframe automation tools and technologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
