Specialist I - Data Governance

This role focuses on ensuring the integrity, security, and usability of data assets within the organization. The Data Governance Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to define data quality requirements and implement data quality controls.
Monitor data quality and identify areas for improvement.
Support data governance initiatives and projects.
Provide training and guidance on data governance best practices.
Assist in the development and maintenance of data catalogs and data dictionaries.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management).
3 to 7 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or a related role.
Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
