Site Reliability Engineer

This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our critical systems and infrastructure. The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated tools and processes to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
Respond to and resolve production incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and releases.
Design and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience (10-15 years) in site reliability engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
