Cloud Security Engineer

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures for cloud-based infrastructure and applications. The Cloud Security Engineer will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring the integrity of systems within a dynamic and evolving cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cloud security strategies and best practices.
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud environments.
Design and deploy security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data loss prevention tools.
Monitor cloud security posture and respond to security incidents.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

5 to 8 years of experience in information security.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with security tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
