Deputy Sourcing Manager

This role involves managing and optimizing the sourcing process to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality goods while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The Deputy Sourcing Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the entire sourcing lifecycle, from supplier identification to contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers to expand the supplier base.
Negotiate favorable pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand their sourcing needs and provide solutions.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sourcing.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience in sourcing and procurement.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
