Lab Assistant

This role supports the science department within a dynamic educational environment. The Lab Assistant will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing materials for experiments, and assisting teachers in delivering engaging science lessons. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare laboratory materials and equipment for experiments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
Assist teachers with science demonstrations and experiments.
Ensure proper storage and disposal of chemicals and materials.
Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment.
Assist in the inventory and ordering of laboratory supplies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of laboratory safety procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in an educational setting is a plus.
