Knowledge Graph / TigerGraph Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Graph / TigerGraph Developer to design, develop, and maintain graph database solutions that power intelligent data relationships and analytics. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in graph database technologies, particularly TigerGraph, and will work closely with data engineering, data science, and product teams to build scalable knowledge graph architectures that drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement knowledge graph schemas, ontologies, and data models using TigerGraph and related technologies
Develop and optimize GSQL queries, graph algorithms, and analytical workflows for large-scale graph datasets
Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load structured and unstructured data into the knowledge graph
Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to leverage graph embeddings and graph-based machine learning models
Ensure performance tuning, scalability, and high availability of graph database deployments
Integrate knowledge graph solutions with downstream applications, APIs, and reporting tools
Define and enforce best practices for graph data modeling, versioning, and governance
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex graph query and data quality issues
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation

Requirements / Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with TigerGraph, including schema design, GSQL query development, and graph analytics
Proficiency in knowledge graph concepts such as ontologies, RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and semantic web technologies
Experience with other graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or Apache TinkerPop is a plus
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline development
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for building integrations and automation scripts
Experience working with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and big data ecosystems
Familiarity with REST API development and microservices architecture
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Excellent communication skills to translate complex graph concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Experience with version control systems such as Git
