Purchase Manager - Electrical MEP

This role involves managing the procurement of electrical and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with vendors, while adhering to quality standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and evaluating potential vendors for electrical and MEP materials.
Negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers.
Managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Monitoring inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Analyzing market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborating with engineering and project teams to understand material requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
6 to 9 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on electrical and MEP materials.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
