ETL Tester

This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of data pipelines and ETL processes. The ETL Tester will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to validate data integrity, accuracy, and performance within our data warehousing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes.
Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system.
Collaborate with developers and data engineers to resolve data quality issues.
Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
Participate in the design and review of ETL processes.
Automate testing processes where possible.

Requirements/Qualifications

Experience in ETL testing and data warehousing concepts.
Strong understanding of data validation techniques.
Proficiency in SQL and data querying.
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage, SSIS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with testing methodologies and best practices.
