Shift Engineer - Electrical Instrumentation

This role involves overseeing and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems within an industrial setting. The Shift Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of equipment, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and controlling electrical and instrumentation systems.
Performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and instrumentation faults.
Implementing preventative maintenance programs.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Responding to and resolving equipment breakdowns.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
Collaborating with other teams to optimize system performance.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and instrumentation principles.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
5 to 6 years of relevant experience.
