Network Engineer

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure network infrastructure to support critical business operations. The Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring network availability, performance, and security, while proactively identifying and resolving network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Configure and troubleshoot network devices and services.
Develop and maintain network documentation.
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
Participate in network disaster recovery planning and testing.

Requirements/Qualifications:

8 to 12 years of experience in network engineering.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols).
Experience with network security devices and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
