Category Manager

This role focuses on managing and optimizing product categories to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction. The Category Manager will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure category performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement category strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
Monitor category performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote category products.

Requirements/Qualifications:

8 to 13 years of experience in category management or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful category strategies.
Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
