Business Development Executive - B2C EdTech Sales

Role Overview

Zeominds IT Solutions is looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to drive B2C sales in the EdTech space. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective learners, understanding their educational needs, and converting leads into enrolments. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious individuals who are passionate about education technology and eager to build a career in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reach out to prospective students and working professionals through calls, emails, and digital channels to promote EdTech courses and programs
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable learning solutions to meet their career and educational goals
  • Manage and follow up on inbound and outbound leads to ensure timely conversion
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and sales activities in the CRM system
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to encourage referrals and repeat engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing and product to refine messaging and improve conversion strategies
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred)
  • Prior experience in B2C sales, EdTech sales, or telecalling is an advantage (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or regional languages
  • Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude and ability to work in a target-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and other sales productivity tools
  • Ability to handle rejection positively and maintain persistence in follow-ups
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
