iSeries Developer

This role focuses on the development and maintenance of applications running on the iSeries platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring the stability and performance of existing systems, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of the iSeries environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain iSeries applications based on defined requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the iSeries environment.
Participate in the design and implementation of new iSeries solutions.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as an iSeries Developer.
Strong understanding of iSeries architecture and technologies.
Proficiency in RPG, CL, and DDS.
Experience with database design and development.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with version control systems.
