Merchandiser - Knits (Male/Female)

This role involves overseeing the merchandising process for knit garments, ensuring quality control, and managing relationships with suppliers and vendors. The merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating production, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing and selecting appropriate fabrics and materials.
Managing production schedules and ensuring timely completion of orders.
Monitoring quality control throughout the production process.
Negotiating prices with suppliers and vendors.
Maintaining accurate inventory records.
Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure alignment.

Requirements/Qualifications

5 to 6 years of experience in garment merchandising, specifically with knitwear.
Strong understanding of the garment production process.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Experience with export processes is a plus.
