Informatica Big Data Hive Hadoop Unix Production Professional

This role focuses on developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and solutions utilizing big data technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in data engineering, with a focus on Informatica, Hive, Hadoop, and Unix environments, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing for production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement data pipelines using Informatica and related technologies.
Develop and optimize Hive and Hadoop jobs for efficient data processing.
Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines, ensuring data quality and availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Implement data security and governance best practices.
Perform data validation and quality checks.

Requirements/Qualifications:

5 to 9 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools.
Experience with Hive and Hadoop ecosystems (e.g., HDFS, MapReduce, YARN).
Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
Experience with production data environments and troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
