Ethnic Wear Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Ethnic Wear Designer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and appealing ethnic wear collections that align with current trends and customer preferences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ethnic aesthetics, excellent design skills, and the ability to translate concepts into tangible designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and design ethnic wear collections, including sarees, salwar kameez, lehengas, and other traditional garments.
Develop detailed sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for designs.
Select appropriate fabrics, embellishments, and trims to complement designs.
Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Stay abreast of current fashion trends, market demands, and competitor offerings.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on prototypes and samples.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Ethnic Wear Designer.
Strong understanding of ethnic aesthetics, draping techniques, and traditional Indian garments.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for fashion.
2 to 5 years of experience.
