Credit Controller

This role involves managing and mitigating credit risk within a dynamic organization. The Credit Controller will be responsible for ensuring timely payments from customers, maintaining accurate records, and implementing effective credit control procedures to safeguard the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessing creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
Establishing and maintaining credit limits.
Monitoring outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments.
Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Preparing credit control reports and providing insights to management.
Negotiating payment plans with customers when necessary.
Maintaining accurate records of credit transactions.
Ensuring compliance with company credit policies and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Significant experience in credit control or a related financial role.
Strong understanding of credit risk management principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and organized with a strong focus on accuracy.
