AIX Admin LPAR

This role involves providing expert-level administration and support for AIX LPAR environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical systems, contributing to the smooth operation of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining AIX LPAR environments.
Performing system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Implementing and maintaining security best practices.
Managing storage and networking resources within the LPAR environment.
Automating routine tasks and processes.
Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
Participating in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience in AIX system administration.
Strong understanding of LPAR concepts and management.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
Knowledge of storage and networking technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with virtualization technologies is a plus.
