Assistant Financial Controller

This role provides essential support to the financial management team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. The Assistant Financial Controller will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Support the development and implementation of internal controls.
Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to management.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation.
Assist with tax preparation and compliance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5 to 10 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
