ETL Testing Engineer

This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of data pipelines and ETL processes. The ETL Testing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to validate data integrity, accuracy, and performance within complex data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes.
Identify, document, and track defects using established bug tracking systems.
Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with developers and data engineers to resolve data quality issues.
Participate in the design and review of ETL processes to ensure testability.
Automate testing processes where possible to improve efficiency.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in ETL testing and data warehousing concepts.
Strong understanding of data validation techniques and methodologies.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Experience with ETL tools and technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
