Sr Manager Direct Taxation

This role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of direct taxation for the organization. The Senior Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws, optimizing tax strategies, and providing expert guidance on complex tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all direct tax compliance activities, including filing of returns and assessments.
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Provide expert advice and guidance on tax-related issues to management and other stakeholders.
Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
Represent the company in tax audits and assessments.
Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax information.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, ICWA).
Extensive experience in direct taxation, with a strong understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in managing tax audits and assessments.
