ServiceNow Security Incident Response SIR Administrator

This role focuses on managing and improving the security incident response process within an organization. The administrator will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to effectively detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and protecting sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) modules.
Develop and implement incident response playbooks and workflows.
Monitor security alerts and investigate potential incidents.
Coordinate incident response activities with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain accurate incident documentation and reporting.
Continuously improve the incident response process based on lessons learned.
Manage and prioritize security incidents based on severity and impact.
Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a ServiceNow administrator with a focus on security incident response.
Strong understanding of security incident response methodologies and frameworks.
Experience with ServiceNow configuration, administration, and development.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
