Associate Manager - Internal Audit

This role involves providing assurance and advisory services to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes. The Associate Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on internal audit engagements, contributing to the organization's overall governance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute internal audit engagements in accordance with established methodologies.
Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5 to 8 years of experience in internal audit or a related role.
Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA) are a plus.
