Splunk Developer
This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk-based solutions for security information and event management (SIEM). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data ingestion, normalization, correlation, and reporting within the Splunk platform, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards and reports to monitor security events and trends.
- Design and implement Splunk knowledge objects, including searches, alerts, and custom apps.
- Integrate various data sources into Splunk for comprehensive security visibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk-related issues.
- Collaborate with security teams to define requirements and implement security solutions.
- Optimize Splunk performance and ensure data integrity.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Splunk Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture, components, and best practices.
- Experience with data ingestion, parsing, and normalization techniques.
- Familiarity with SIEM concepts and security principles.
- Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
