Splunk Developer

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk-based solutions for security information and event management (SIEM). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data ingestion, normalization, correlation, and reporting within the Splunk platform, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards and reports to monitor security events and trends.
Design and implement Splunk knowledge objects, including searches, alerts, and custom apps.
Integrate various data sources into Splunk for comprehensive security visibility.
Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk-related issues.
Collaborate with security teams to define requirements and implement security solutions.
Optimize Splunk performance and ensure data integrity.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Splunk Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture, components, and best practices.
Experience with data ingestion, parsing, and normalization techniques.
Familiarity with SIEM concepts and security principles.
Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
