Email Security Lead

This role is focused on leading and implementing robust email security strategies to protect organizational data and systems. The Email Security Lead will be responsible for identifying, mitigating, and responding to email-borne threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement email security policies and procedures.
Manage and maintain email security infrastructure, including anti-spam, anti-malware, and email encryption solutions.
Monitor email traffic for suspicious activity and investigate security incidents.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of email systems.
Stay up-to-date on the latest email security threats and trends.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into email workflows.
Provide training and awareness programs to employees on email security best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications:

6 to 8 years of experience in information security, with a focus on email security.
Strong understanding of email protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP) and email security technologies.
Experience with email security gateways, spam filters, and anti-malware solutions.
Knowledge of email encryption techniques and data loss prevention (DLP) strategies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with security incident response and investigation.
