Digital Matte Paint Artist

This role focuses on creating visually stunning and seamless digital environments and effects for film and television projects. The Digital Matte Paint Artist will be responsible for integrating live-action footage with digitally created elements, ensuring a believable and immersive final product.

Key Responsibilities:

Create high-quality digital matte paintings and environment extensions.
Integrate matte paintings with live-action footage using compositing techniques.
Work closely with VFX supervisors and other artists to achieve the desired visual style.
Maintain consistent visual quality and adhere to project deadlines.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of composition, perspective, and lighting.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Strong artistic skills and a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Nuke, or similar.
Solid understanding of composition, perspective, and color theory.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with film or television VFX is a plus.
