Quantity Surveyor

This role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of quantity surveying for construction projects. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, cost control, and procurement, ensuring projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost estimation and budgeting for construction projects.
Procurement of materials and services.
Cost control and monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
Negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Preparing and submitting payment certificates.
Value engineering and cost optimization.
Risk management related to cost and procurement.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
