Mainframe Batch Console Operations Professional

This role focuses on the operational support and maintenance of mainframe systems, specifically related to batch processing and console operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mainframe environments and be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of batch jobs and monitoring system health.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor mainframe systems and applications for performance and errors.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to batch job failures and console operations.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system backups and recovery procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in mainframe operations, with a focus on batch processing and console operations.
Strong understanding of JCL, ISPF, and TSO.
