Kafka AWS Migration Engineer

This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud technologies, contributing to the seamless migration and optimization of data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Kafka-based data pipelines for real-time data ingestion and processing.
Migrate existing data infrastructure to AWS cloud services.
Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for data pipelines.
Optimize Kafka cluster performance and ensure high availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience with Apache Kafka and its ecosystem.
Proficiency in AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Kinesis, Lambda).
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
Experience with data modeling and database design.
Understanding of distributed systems and data streaming concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
