Assistant Manager - HSE
This role involves ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and stakeholders. The Assistant Manager - HSE will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide HSE training to employees.
- Monitor and manage environmental performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and standards.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HSE management.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop control measures.
- Proficiency in incident investigation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
