Junior EHS Officer

This role involves supporting the implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs within an organization. The Junior EHS Officer will assist in ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits.
Support the development and implementation of EHS training programs.
Maintain records of safety incidents and corrective actions.
Assist in the investigation of accidents and near misses.
Contribute to the development of safety procedures and policies.
Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Understanding of EHS principles and practices.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
