ETL QA Lead

This role is focused on leading and executing quality assurance activities for our ETL processes and data warehousing solutions. The ETL QA Lead will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data pipelines, as well as collaborating with development teams to resolve issues and improve data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate bug tracking systems.
Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with developers and data engineers to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.
Participate in the design and review of ETL processes to ensure testability and quality.
Automate testing processes where possible to improve efficiency.
Monitor ETL job performance and identify areas for optimization.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in ETL testing and data warehousing concepts.
Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage, SSIS).
Experience with data validation and reconciliation techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
