Application Production Support Engineer

This role focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of critical production applications. The Application Production Support Engineer will be responsible for monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to prevent future incidents, contributing to a reliable and efficient operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor production systems and applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical problems, escalating as needed.
Implement and maintain proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide support outside of regular business hours.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for production support processes and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in production support environments.
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
Experience with containerization technologies like AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
