Cybersecurity Lead Detection SOAR Engineer

This role focuses on leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, automation techniques, and experience in building and managing security operations workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of SOAR playbooks to automate incident response processes.
Integrate various security tools and data sources into the SOAR platform.
Develop and maintain security operations workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with security analysts and engineers to optimize threat detection and response strategies.
Stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies to continuously improve security posture.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements/Qualifications:

7 to 12 years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
Proven experience with SOAR platforms (e.g., Phantom, Demisto, Swimlane).
Strong understanding of security operations principles and practices.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
