Head of Operations - Contract Logistics and Cold Chain

This role is responsible for leading and managing the operations of contract logistics and cold chain services, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of solutions to clients. The position requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in optimizing operational processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction within a dynamic logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of contract logistics and cold chain operations.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize performance.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.
Ensure the integrity and security of goods throughout the supply chain.
Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies to improve operational effectiveness.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in operations management, preferably within contract logistics or cold chain.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
Solid understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics technologies.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
