Fund Accountant

This role involves supporting the fund accounting operations for various investment funds. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily accounting tasks related to fund operations.
Reconcile fund balances and transactions.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
0 to 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
