Head - NPA

This role is responsible for leading and managing the Non-Performing Assets (NPA) recovery function, ensuring efficient resolution of distressed assets and minimizing financial losses. The position requires a strong understanding of legal frameworks, recovery strategies, and risk management principles within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective NPA recovery strategies and policies.
Oversee the entire NPA recovery process, from identification to resolution.
Manage and mentor a team of recovery professionals.
Liaise with legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze NPA portfolio performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Negotiate settlements and restructuring plans with borrowers.
Manage litigation and other legal proceedings related to NPA recovery.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience (10-15 years) in NPA recovery, asset reconstruction, or related financial services roles.
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing NPA recovery.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor's degree in finance, law, or a related field.
