Shuttering Centering Worker

This role involves performing skilled labor in the construction industry, specifically focusing on the erection, alignment, and dismantling of formwork systems used in concrete construction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of formwork principles and techniques, ensuring the accurate and efficient creation of concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Erect, align, and secure formwork systems for concrete structures such as slabs and columns.
Ensure formwork is level, plumb, and accurately positioned according to engineering drawings.
Inspect formwork for damage or defects before, during, and after concrete pouring.
Assist in the dismantling of formwork after concrete has cured and achieved sufficient strength.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a shuttering centering worker or similar role.
Strong understanding of formwork principles and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding conditions.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
