Medical Coding OP Professional

This role focuses on accurate and efficient medical coding for outpatient procedures, ensuring proper billing and compliance with industry standards. The Medical Coding OP Professional will be responsible for reviewing medical records, assigning appropriate codes, and maintaining data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret medical documentation to accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
Verify code accuracy and completeness.
Resolve coding discrepancies and denials.
Stay updated on coding changes and industry best practices.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience in medical coding, specifically with outpatient procedures.
Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in medical coding software.
Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is a plus.
